Dr. Kohn is a licensed psychologist with experience in providing evidence-based treatment to children, adolescents, and adults in outpatient, inpatient, and residential settings. She has clinical experience working with individuals managing anxiety and mood disorders, suicidal ideation, and emotion regulation difficulties. Dr. Kohn received her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University and completed her pre-doctoral internship at Foundations Behavioral Health. Throughout her doctoral training, Dr. Kohn provided evidence-based treatments including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), and interventions informed by Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Dr. Kohn has further received training in administering psychoeducational and neuropsychological assessments to youth and adults. Dr. Kohn is particularly interested in mindfulness and mindfulness-based interventions, and during her doctoral training she conducted research examining the validity of a mindfulness measure for adolescents.
