Dr. Rubenfeld is a licensed psychologist with experience in cognitive behavior therapy for treating a range of disorders in children, adolescents and adults including anxiety, trauma, complicated bereavement, depression, and behavioral difficulties. She incorporates her training in evidence-based approaches such as dialectical behavior therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, parent skills training and motivational interviewing, to help individuals meet their goals. In addition, Dr. Rubenfeld also administers comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological assessments. Dr. Rubenfeld received her doctoral degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her clinical internship at the Goodman Psychological Services Center at Albizu University. Dr. Rubenfeld has worked in multiple community outpatient clinics across South Florida including Unicorn Children’s Foundation’s Clinic at the Mailman Segal Center for Human Development, Child and Adolescent Trauma and Stress Program at Nova Southeastern University, and the Child and Adolescent Mood and Treatment Program at University of Miami. While earning her doctoral degree, Dr. Rubenfeld conducted and supported clinical research at Nova Southeastern University and at the Mailman Center for Human Development focusing on individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder
